Children's Coats in High Demand
(As of December 19th - Approx 400 coats given out)
This is the time of year people start thinking about pulling out the winter clothes - hats, jackets, scarves and gloves. It's easy to forget that not everyone has those items.
Even with over 200 coats being distributed on Friday, December 11, 2009 in Crestline and Lake Arrowhead, and an additional 190 coats being distributed December 19th in Crestline, there still remains a need to collect coats for children ~ infants to age 10.
Every person can contribute - whether it is donating a new or slightly used coat or just spreading the word - we can meet the needs to help keep children warm this winter.
If you have a childs coat to donate please drop it off at one of the following locations:
Crestline: Goodwin?s Market, intersection of Lake Gregory Dr. and Lake Dr. in Crestline
Blue Jay: Hearts & Lives, 27315 North Bay Rd. Suite A, Blue Jay
Lake Arrowhead: Mountains Community Hospital, Hospital Rd., Lake Arrowhead
Running Springs: Village Market, Hilltop Blvd (Hwy. 18), Running Springs
Arrowbear: Deer Lick Lumber, Hwy 18, Arrowbear
Collection locations will run throughout the winter months with distribution dates and locations to be announced.
