Complex Includes Community Treasure Chest Collection Center By Michael P. Neufeld Thursday, September 23, 2010
Beaumont, CA - Hearts & Lives — based in Blue Jay — will be holding a Grand Opening on Saturday, September 25, at their new Beaumont complex at 635 Veile Avenue. The facility houses a Resource and Education Center and the Community Treasure Chest. The grand opening will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and include a bake sale, car wash, a barbecue with soft drinks, face painting for kids and prizes and pinatas for children.
"It's a great way to introduce our services to the Pass Area," Hearts & Lives President Ira Maser stated.
Hearts & Lives is also pleased to announce the opening of the donation shop — Community Treasure Chest —that will be accepting well preserved household items, gently worn clothing, monetary donations, and be staffed by dedicated volunteers.
"We're always looking for volunteers to help with the thrift store," Maser indicated. Maser noted that regular hours for the Community Treasure Chest will be Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
